Venezuela Country Attack

Operation Absolute Resolve was a huge "decapitation strike" and raid by the US military on January 3, 2026. It led to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. The operation started at about 2:00 AM local time and involved more than 150 aircraft, including F-35 fighters, B-1 bombers, and specialized helicopters. These aircraft carried out precise strikes on important military bases like Fort Tiuna and La Carlota Air Base to disable air defenses and communication grids.
